Soft feminine fabrics like chiffon, silks, and satins were often used to create long, flowing, gowns flattering the female silhouette. Bias cuts, draping fabric, dropped waist lines, intricate beading, and low backs were all characteristic of Art Deco style gowns.

These first 2 are from Claire Pettibone.

This gown’s dropped waist is reminiscent of Art Deco, but this bride definitely wears a vintage look that I love. These photos were taken by Jessica Claire.

We’re drivin to LA tonight for a busy weekend. More Art Deco inspiration to come next week. Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!
